“ This has to be probably one of the best Menuderias in San Diego. The closest to the most authentic. I love how they have a bar with different spices, veggies, and salsas. Also, I am quite surprised with how quick the service is and how attentive the staff is. I definitely recommend coming early as the line gets very long. I love the music that they play and how clean the area is. I highly highly recommend coming here of your craving for a good Menudo. ”
“ Love their #Menudo but instead of Rojo I tried Blanco. It was tasty and I enjoyed it but I prefer Rojo, The #SopesPollo was excellent #TacoDeBirria I prefer crispier but it was good too, At the salsa bar they had all the fixings for menudo but they should have a better container for the salsas. Cardboard doesn't hold liquid well. You do pay extra for chips and we ended lunch with delicious flan for dessert. We did come at the lunch hour so we had a bit of a wait. Once seated service was very nice and prompt for a table of 10. Will always come back for menudo blanco. I love having hominy in mine ”
“ I have no credibility in saying what is authentic or not but this place truly was one of the two best places that I've had Pozole and Menudo. The only thing missing is the whole dried peppers but besides that, I love the food. Place gets pretty busy and can get loud but service is really good. The ladies are so sweet and I love the open cart with the toppings. The tables and seats can use an upgrade but the food makes up for it. Already drooling about the next time I can return. ”
“ If you're not in a rush for some homemade menudo then you came to the right spot. The wait is roughly about 45 minute the service is quick once you get seated someone comes by and takes your order for drinks. ”
“ If you love posole then this is the place to go when your down south. Growing up in Hawaii we were not quite exposed to a lot of Mexican food. My first experience trying posole was as at a potluck at work. I loved the warm soup and the delicious flavors. From then on I have loved posole My go to here is the green chicken posole. My husband likes the red posole. I always ask for extra tostada. We enjoy that they have a condiment bar and you can get your own onion, cabbage, cilantro, and lime. You basically can customize your posole. Their horchata and Jamaica are delicious. It's not a very large location. The weekdays can be pretty crowded and the weekends are very busy. You can be waiting for 1-2hrs on a weekend if you have a party of 6 or more. But to my family and I it is worth the wait. The staff are attentive and quick to take your order when you're ready. I will admit though that ordering to go/pick up is not that great. I think we got use to the condiment bar that we are usually not satisfied with the amount of condiments provided when we order to go. Would highly recommend dining in. There of course are other items on the menu but for the most part we have only gone for the posole ”
